Bookcases: We kindly had donations of two
bookcases so we will be moving forward with
making books, puzzles and DVD’s available
for purchase for nominal fees. If you have any#
of these in good order which you would like to
donate, please leave in either of the changing
rooms and I will arrange for them to be put out
on display for people to peruse. The items will
be regularly updated with those items not
moving being passed on to local charity shops.
Friendly Captain: If any member would like to be considered for the position of Friendly Captain please let me know. You will need some organisational ability, a friendly encouraging disposition and an understanding that the emphasis of all Friendly games should be on enjoyment and presenting a positive image of Highworth Bowls Club.
Bowls Club Metal Badges: If anyone collects bowls club badges we have around 20 from various clubs far and wide, which were found in the club storeroom during the recent tidy up, which we are happy to past on. Please let me know if you would like them. email hidden; JavaScript is required
Working Party: After the success of the last Working Party and with a number of jobs still needing completion we will be holding another WP on the morning of Saturday 26th March. We look forward to seeing as many members as possible from 8.30am.
Social: Many thanks to all those who attended the very successful Race Night in early March. Great fun was had and £184 raised towards a club Defibrillator.
Next Social: Bingo takes place again this Saturday 19th March at 7.30pm
