On a beautifully sunny FA Cup Saturday, Highworth were victorious in their friendly with Wantage Bowls Club.
Each team were winners on two rinks but Highworth came out on top by 12 shots. Maggie, Bob and Neil took the honours as our highest winning rink. It was great to see Morgan our youngest member enjoying his game and new members taking to the green.
Thanks to Josie for stepping in at the eleventh hour and contributing with Jackie B to another winning rink.
Drinks were enjoyed after the game with our bowling friends from Wantage who we look forward to welcoming to Highworth next year.
