Membership Fees 2018:
Highworth Bowls Club welcomes both playing and non-playing (social) members.
- Full bowling membership is £93.00 pounds per year.
- Senior bowlers and Beginner bowlers, membership is £46.50 for the year.
- Junior bowlers (under 18 years), pay just £5.00 per year.
- Social membership costs just £12.50 per year.
Annual Club membership runs from January to December.
Types of Membership:
1 – FULL Bowling Member – a bowling member aged between 18 and 79 years of age.
2 – SENIOR Bowling Member – a member who has reached the age of 80 years on or before the end of December of the previous year.
3 – BEGINNER Bowling Member – a Bowling Member in the first year of membership, who has no previous bowling experience or a bowler in his/her first year as a full bowling member, having previously been a Junior bowler.
4 – JUNIOR Bowling Member – a Bowling Member under the age of 18 years.
5 – SOCIAL Member – is recognised as any member who may utilise all facilities offered by the club with the exception of full use of the green. Whilst forming a much valued section of overall Club membership, Social Members may only use the bowling green and/or equipment for a ‘roll up’ under the supervision of a full bowling member on a maximum of three occasions subject to payment of the appropriate ‘green fee’. Social Members cannot enter club bowls competitions unless invited by the respective Club Captain.
