Club Competitions & Dress Code – Ladies

The Ladies Four Wood Singles shall be open to all female bowling members (including beginners and juniors) and shall be the first player to reach 21 shots. The winner will be declared ‘Club Champion’ and be eligible for entry into the next Inter-Club  ‘Champion of Champions’ competition. The winner of the competition will receive two points and the runner up one point to count towards the 6 points required for entry onto the County register.

The Ladies Two Wood Singles shall be open to all female bowling members (including beginners and juniors) and shall be played over 21 ends.  Should the scores be level after 21 ends an extra end or ends shall be played as stated in Bowls England rules. The winner of the competition will receive two points and the runner up one point to count towards the 6 points required for entry onto the County register.

The Ladies Plate Singles shall be open to all female bowling members (including beginners and juniors) who have not previously won a Singles competition within this club, and shall be the first player to reach 21 shots.

The Ladies Pairs shall be open to all female bowling members (including beginners and juniors) and shall be played over 21 ends. Should the scores be level after 21 ends, an extra end or ends shall be played (Bowls England rules).

The Ladies Triples shall be open to all female bowling members (including beginners and juniors) and shall be played over 18 ends. Should the scores be level after 18 ends, an extra end or ends shall be played (Bowls England rules).

Dress Code for Ladies’ Club Competitions

Up To and Including Semi-Finals

 Players  

 

Grey skirt  or  grey tailored trousers to be worn with:

HBC white polo shirt  or  Official HBC blue/gold polo shirt

Sleeveless tops are NOT allowed

Players on the same team must dress in the same colour above the waist by mutual agreement

Markers  

 

Grey skirt  or  grey tailored trousers to be worn with:

Plain white top  or  Official HBC blue/gold polo shirt

(Sleeveless tops are NOT allowed)

Club blazer is optional

Club Finals

 Players  

 

White skirt or white tailored trousers (belt, white, if worn) to be worn with:

HBC white polo shirt  or  Official HBC blue/gold polo shirt

Sleeveless tops are NOT allowed

Players on the same team must dress in the same colour above the waist, by mutual agreement.
