Our ladies rink of Maggie Jordan, Linda Young, Deanne Davis and Jo Hicks have qualified to play in the County Rinks Final which gives them a place at the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Leamington on 3rd, 4th and 5th of September.
After wins against rinks from Supermarine, Chippenham Town and then Wroughton the ladies qualified for the last 8 which was played at Amesbury on Saturday 21st May.
In the morning Quarter Finals the ladies easily overcame their opponents from Wilton by 30-4 before moving on in the afternoon to play a rink from Devizes. This was a closer game but our ladies were always in control before their opponents conceded after the 17th end with the score 20-11.
Our fabulous four now play the County Final back at Amesbury on 30th July before moving on to represent Wiltshire in the National Finals.
A tremendous achievement for the ladies who should be rightly proud of their efforts.
